About Andy Warhol:
Andy Warhol was a renowned and controversial artist who is most famously known for his Pop Art pieces. Many of his paintings were of celebrities or cultural icons and he has used all forms of media. Many of his works draw from gay culture and explore the complexity of sexuality and desire.

About the Piece:
For his oxidization pieces, Warhol coated canvases with copper paint and then had several of his assistants urinate on them to oxidize and change colors. One of his assistants would take a lot of Vitamin B to create shades of green and gold in some of the pieces. His series of these oxidized paintings have fetched up to $1.5 million dollars.

Bravo to Warhol for upping the value of pee.
